So i was playing red dead online and i tried to kill a elk with a bow and i hit him 2 times and he went down only he didn't dice and was struggling. I felt bad and i don't want that to happen once again 😪. How practise i go a clean kill

Yeah the sounds the animals make are roughshod. For a elk you need a stronger rifle. Commodities action with a caput shot will do it. The bow can have downward deer with a clean head shot only the elk are to big.

Did y'all go for the head? If you focus on the animal in the lesser left of the screen it will prompt you to press a button to inspect the animal and it should tell you what appropriate weapon to apply. (FYI you tin't do this if the animal is already dead)
Correct me if I'm wrong but I recall you may need a scoped rifle for a clean impale. E'er aim for the caput. Edit: a scoped rifle for an elk.
